* 1/25/09 - Wes has been making steady progress after one set back where he ended up in the Hospital the first of November. He now has “Physical Therapy Without Walls” assisting him with his physical therapy as well as travels to St Lukes a few times a week to have Aqua Therapy in their pool. He is doing well with this and is starting to get some sensation in his mid-section as well as his feet. He has made a few trips to the Casino to enjoy dinner with his Mom and friends and has had a lot of fun gambling. It has been such a cold and snowy winter that it has been difficult for him to get out, but his friend Dick Fisher has been able to help him get into his vehicle and even take him Christmas shopping. Wes has also had his Physical Therapists take him on shopping excursions. Wes has been very disappointed over his Dallas Cowboys as he predicted them to be in the Super Bowl this year, but still intends to decorate his apartment with Cowboys paraphenalia. In November the Extreme Home Team lead by Mark Peterson, renovated Wes’s apartment which is attached to his Mom’s home. They did a wonderful job even incorporating a TV into this bathroom.
* 10/20/08 - Wes will be arriving home next week! Yeah! He'll be flying into Fairchild and then doing rehab at St. Lukes.
